Jan-Carlo Simic is proving himself one of the most exciting talents in the Milan youth system, attracting the attention of Bournemouth and Fulham.
The 18-year-old Serbian defender joined the Rossoneri from VfB Stuttgart back in the summer of 2022 for around €1m, slotting into the club’s Under-19 Primavera squad. Since his arrival, he’s scored three goals and provided three assists across 57 games in Italy and Europe.
Simic also broke into the Milan first team this season, making his debut and first start in a 3-0 Serie A win over Monza on December 17th, where he scored the second goal at San Siro. He’s since made five more appearances under Stefano Pioli.
Simic attracts interest
TMW details how Bournemouth and Fulham have made contact in recent weeks to explore a move for Simic in the upcoming summer transfer window, keen to snap up the Milan talent. His current deal with the club expires in June 2025.
The Rossoneri do not want to lose the growing teenager, however, and have already opened talks with his entourage to start discussing a new deal. He is keen to move forward with the club and a meeting could be set up in the coming weeks.
