Andre Silva maintains ‘I’m a Milan player until at least June’ but admits he has ‘no answers’ for his difficult first season at San Siro.
Silva joined Milan for €38m in the summer of 2017 but netted just two Serie A goals for the Rossoneri last season and has since pitched up at Sevilla, where his seven strikes put him top of the scoring charts in La Liga.
“I didn’t expect to score seven goals and all these victories,” the striker told Calciomercato.com.

“I’m always positive but I didn’t expect it to be this good! I feel good on the pitch and away from it, so I have to thank my teammates and Coach.
“I play for Sevilla, but I’m a Milan player until at least June. Football is football, no club are the same as each other.
“I have no answers to explain what happened with the Rossoneri last season, I only know that this season, I feel good again and I want to score more goals and win as many games as possible.
“The crucial thing is confidence. You can do anything with confidence. I knew that Sevilla would be a great club, with complete confidence in everyone.
“My family joined me in Spain, I’m very close to them.”
So is the Portuguese starlet Cristiano Ronaldo’s heir?
“I’m not anyone’s heir,” he asserted.
“Cristiano is Cristiano, he did a lot… I’m starting out now. Everyone dreams of matching him, but I have a long way to go.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is a legend and I want to follow in his footsteps… but as Andre Silva.”
