The Brazilian international is consistently being paired with the Nou Camp outfit given his status as one of the world’s best defenders.
However, speaking to Milan Channel, the 27-year-old has committed his future to the reigning Italian champions.
“My plans are to remain here until June 2016 and then I’d like to renew my contract for another four years,” he stated.
“I actually hope that Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani is watching this interview so he knows what steps to take.”
Silva, formerly of Juventude, Porto and Dynamo Moscow, joined Milan for the 2009-10 campaign from Fluminense.
He’s scored twice in 19 games for the Diavolo across all competitions so far this season.
