The agent of Fortuna Dusseldorf defender Jamil Siebert confirms ‘Milan wanted him, he is very suited to Serie A’ and Roma would be ideal for the 20-year-old, who is also a target for Nottingham Forest.

The Germany Under-20 international is a product of the Fortuna Dusseldorf academy and since January 2022 has been on loan at Viktoria Koln.

His contract runs to June 2025 and a sale in the summer is increasingly likely, especially as the competition for his signature continues to grow.

“Milan wanted him circa a year and a half ago, and since then other Italian clubs have started to track his progress,” agent Alexis Portselis told Calciomercato.it.

“His characteristics mean he is well suited to Serie A, as he is quick, powerful, strong athletically and good at the skills of defending. He has everything needed to do well in Serie A and Italy in general.”

While the Rossoneri went towards other targets, Siebert is now mainly on the radar for Roma and Nottingham Forest.

“Every young player has dreams and desires,” continued his representative.

“Jose Mourinho is one of the best coaches in the history of football, Rome is a beautiful city and Roma a great club with fantastic fans.”
