Andriy Shevchenko admits he wasn’t expecting quite this many Genoa problems, but ‘Juventus are always Juventus’ despite recent form.

It kicks off on Sunday at 19.45 GMT at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin.

This will be Sheva’s fourth game on the Genoa bench since replacing Davide Ballardini, but he has so far picked up one point and his team hasn’t scored a single goal.

“I knew before taking the job that there were difficulties, especially with the fixture list, but what I did not expect was all these injuries that are really penalising us,” Shevchenko told the official Genoa channel.

Juventus aren’t in much better shape, as they have failed to impress so far this season with the return of Max Allegri.

“Juve are always Juve, a great team with important champions. They have a way of forgetting defeats quickly, they have so much quality and the statistics throughout Allegri’s career speak for him.

“He is a motivator who knows how to get the best out of this group.”
