Milan legend Andriy Shevchenko could play in America’s Major League Soccer next season, according to his agent.
The Ukrainian veteran, a national hero, struck two goals last night as his country defeated Sweden on home soil in their opening Euro 2012 match.

The Ukrainian veteran, a national hero, struck two goals last night as his country defeated Sweden on home soil in their opening Euro 2012 match.
Shevchenko currently plies his trade for hometown club Dynamo Kiev, but, as his career diminishes, a move to the MLS is a possibility.
“Andriy will continue to play next season,” said agent Fabio Parisi. “Where? Perhaps in America where he already has a number of contacts.”
The 35-year-old won a host of awards, including the Ballon d’Or, during his first spell at Milan between 1999 and 2006.
