Andriy Shevchenko is confident former teammate Pippo Inzaghi has all the tools necessary to be a success as Milan boss.
After two years working in the club’s youth sector, the former striker was handed the Diavolo hotseat in the summer following the departure of Clarence Seedorf.
“I have always known that Inzaghi would have been a Coach,” the Ukrainian legend told Milan News.
“He’s always had the talent for such a role. Even as a player, he was very interested in the tactical side of the game.
“I think Pippo can help Milan get back to being a great side, but we shouldn’t expect miracles from the start.”
Inzaghi’s Serie A coaching career began well as the Rossoneri beat Lazio 3-1 in the first week of the Serie A season.
