Keisuke Honda could leave Milan for a move to China with Shanghai SIPG and Andre Villas-Boas.

According to reports emerging from Asia, the January transfer window could be the right time for this change of direction.

The 30-year-old Japan international midfielder is only under contract until June 2017.

He made just three appearances for the club this season, totalling just 80 minutes of football, and is not part of Coach Vincenzo Montella’s plans.

Honda joined the Rossoneri from CSKA Moscow as a free agent in January 2014.
