Inter quoted William Shakespeare’s Sonnet 109 to celebrate Romelu Lukaku’s return to the club.

The Belgian striker has returned to the Stadio Meazza on loan ten months after his €113m move to Chelsea. The Belgium international failed to justify his price tag under Thomas Tuchel, scoring 15 goals in 44 appearances at Stamford Bridge.

He had remained in contact with Inter directors and coach Simone Inzaghi during the previous campaign and eventually returned to the club on a temporary deal worth €8m.

Lukaku is currently training in Sardinia, while Inter will begin their pre-season training tomorrow. Big Rom will probably join his teammates on Friday.

Inter fans are looking forward to seeing Lukaku wear the Nerazzurri shirt again and Shakespeare’s Sonnet 109 inspired the Nerazzurri, who quoted the English poet on their official website.
