According to a report from El Desmarque in Spain, Sevilla have rejected an opening €21m bid from José Mourinho’s Fenerbahce for Youssef En-Nesyri, a primary Roma target in attack.

Roma and their ex-coach Mourinho are fighting for the same transfer target. Multiple reports, in fact, claim that both the Giallorossi and Mou’s new club, Fenerbahce, are pushing for Sevilla centre-forward En-Nesyri.

According to El Desmarque, Mourinho has identified the Morocco international as his priority for strengthening the Fenerbahce attack this summer.

The same Spanish media, however, claims that Sevilla have rejected an opening bid worth €21m from the Turkish club.

This is not good news for Roma either, as, according to Il Corriere dello Sport, the Giallorossi were on the verge of sending a similar offer for the 27-year-old. According to both CorSport and El Desmarque, Sevilla’s asking price for En-Nesyri is around €25m.

Sky Sport Italia and Corriere della Sera, however, claim that Mourinho’s side is still ahead in the race for the Moroccan striker, given that Fenerbahce has offered a higher salary to the 27-year-old.

Therefore, the Giallorossi are now considering different options, including Jonathan David.
