The tactician flew in with a private plane from Milan, where he resolved his contract situation with Milan, having been fired on November 27.
He touched down in Andalusia and was greeted at the airport by director Oscar Arias and new assistant manager Enzo Maresca.

Montella is expected to take charge of his first training session tomorrow afternoon – though Maresca was already present for today’s run-out – and can be presented to the media at 11.00 GMT.
His official debut will be next Wednesday at the Ramon de Carranza against Cadiz in the Copa del Rey.
