The Montenegrin spent the second half of last season on loan with the Spanish side, but they couldn’t afford his €13m release clause.

Inter refused to negotiate over price, and despite Jovetic’s desire to return to Seville there has so far been no breakthrough.

Inter refused to negotiate over price, and despite Jovetic’s desire to return to Seville there has so far been no breakthrough.

“We’re missing a left-back and we’re considering different options for the end of the transfer window,” Castro told assembled reporters in Turkey, as Sevilla prepare to face Basakeshir.

“Until August 31 anything can happen, if the right opportunities arise then someone else can come in.

“I’ve already talked about [Carlos] Bacca and Jovetic though, saying they’re options not obligations [Bacca joined Villarreal today] because the team is already complete.”
