Barcelona boss Quique Setien has confirmed that his club are interested in signing Inter striker Lautaro Martinez.
Martinez has been heavily linked with replacing Luis Suarez as Barca’s next No 9, and Setien confessed the 22-year-old was already a ‘great player’.
“He’s an important player, a great player, and Barcelona are always interested in great players, of course,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Messi, for his part, had been mentioned as a shock target for Inter in the event he left Camp Nou.
“[Him leaving] won’t happen. Messi and Barcelona will always be together. That’s just the way it is.
“Leo has been at Barca for 20 years and no-one could say there is a situation of breakdown.
“Some things happen at big clubs, it’s normal that there are conflicts. But they resolve themselves.
“There’s a great feeling in the relationship between Messi and Barcelona, which goes beyond money and interests.
“Everything must be done to ensure Messi is best equipped so that Barcelona can continue to win things like they have done in the past 15 years.”
