Trapani have officially seen their appeal against a two-point penalty rejected, so the Serie B relegation play-out is between Pescara and Perugia.

The situation had been in some doubt due to the two points docked for financial irregularities.

If they had been handed back, then Trapani would’ve leapfrogged Pescara and sent them straight down to Serie C.

However, with today’s decision, it is confirmed that Trapani are relegated to Serie C with Juve Stabia and Livorno.
