Siena, who lost the Serie C play-off final, believe they should be promoted to replace one of the teams, while relegated sides Novara, Pro Vercelli and Ternana are making similar claims.

The first match sees Perugia visit Brescia on Friday night, and both clubs have released statements confirming that they’ll play.
However the AIC, the Italian players’ union, could call a strike and delay the start of the season.
“The agitation remains and we are of the idea to postpone the first two rounds of the season,” President Damiano Tommasi told RMC Sport.
“We have to wait for the Collegio di Garanzia, so we don’t have to declare anything today but the fear is that a dangerous precedent has been created.
“The change went well beyond the limits of the commissioner's mandate, and was in disregard of the need for qualified majorities provided for in the FIGC’s articles of association.
“The AIC will continue to provide the necessary support to safeguard the rights of the players and reserves the right to act in the most appropriate areas to repress any anti-union behaviour.
“Will Brescia-Perugia go ahead? Right now I don’t know, we'll talk about it again with players and teams.”
