Monza, Vicenza and Reggina had already been promoted by topping their Serie C1 groups, with the fourth spot decided via play-offs.

The Final was a one-off match this evening and it was clinched by a 50th-minute header from Sierra Leone forward Augustus Kargbo.

Mirco Antenucci thought he had equalised for Bari, but it was disallowed for handball.

It’s disappointment for Bari, who went bankrupt and were brought back to life by Napoli patron Aurelio De Laurentiis in 2018.
