The Serie B playout between Foggia and Salernitana is set to go ahead now after two rulings in its favour.

The dates for the two-legged affair – which will decide who drops down to the third tier – will be announced soon by Lega B President Mauro Balata.

Foggia received a six-point deduction at the start of the season but appealed to have that lifted after Palermo were demoted for financial irregularities.

Foggia received a six-point deduction at the start of the season but appealed to have that lifted after Palermo were demoted for financial irregularities.

Their case had to go through the Regional Administratve Court (TAR) and the Collegio di Garanzia dello Sport, but they will now get a chance to play for Serie B survival against the Campanian side.
