Walter Novellino is back in football after he was hired by Serie B giants Livorno earlier today.
The Tuscan outfit have appointed the former midfielder after they parted company with Giuseppe Pillon.
Novellino, nicknamed Monzon, was linked with a possible return to former club Sampdoria last week but he's now accepted the Livorno call.
The 57-year-old hasn't been in a job since he was sacked by Reggina back in October 2009.

Novellino is considered as a promotion specialist after guiding Venezia, Napoli, Piacenza and Sampdoria into Serie A during his career.
Livorno, who lost 2-0 to Portogruaro on Saturday, are currently joint-seventh in the Serie B standings.
