Lecce have officially announced the permanent signing of Scottish midfielder Liam Henderson from Hellas Verona.
The midfielder has joined the Giallorossi on a deal until June 2024, having recently returned to Verona from a loan stint at Empoli in the second tier.
“US Lecce announce the permanent transfer of the footballer Liam Henderson from Hellas Verona,” the club wrote in a statement.
“The player, who has already undergone the medical examinations, has signed a four-year contract.”

Henderson left Celtic in January 2018, when he initially moved to Bari for €120,000, but was picked up by the Gialloblu only six months later on a free transfer.
