Serie B side Virtus Lanciano have seen their five-point penalty for financial irregularities reduced to two on appeal.
The club saw its appeal partially accepted by the National Court of Federal Appeal.
Their fine was also cut from €6,500 to €3,000.
It was on top of a previous two-point penalty for other financial irregularities, so their total deduction is now four points.
