The FIGC has confirmed that Serie B will go ahead with 19 teams after throwing out five appeals.

Ternana, Pro Vercelli, Siena, Catania and Novara all felt they had cases to bump Serie B back up to 22 teams, but ANSA reports the FIGC rejected their appeals on Monday morning.

The agency adds the decision by the federation’s Federal National Court also acts as confirmation that the League will be contested by 19 sides.
