President Massimo Cellino strikes again, firing coach Davide Dionigi just two weeks after signing a new contract, so Brescia are looking for their fifth coach of the campaign.

The notoriously trigger-happy club patron has always managed to go through coaches at Cagliari, Leeds United and now Brescia.

Following protests from fans and four consecutive defeats in Serie B, Cellino has fired Dionigi.

It’s a sudden turnaround, considering Dionigi only signed a new contract two weeks ago, holding him to the club until June 2022.

Dionigi was only hired by Brescia on December 10 and had just 10 games in charge of the Rondinelle.

Brescia had started the season with Luigi Delneri in charge, but he lasted just two matches before he was sacked on October 6.

Diego Lopez returned to the Stadio Rigamonti after leaving in August, managed nine games at the helm and was fired on December 7.

Daniele Gastaldello was the caretaker manager for one match before Dionigi was hired on December 10.
