Cremonese have announced the appointment of Pierpaolo Bisoli as their new head coach and the successor to Massimo Rastelli.
The Serie B side decided to part ways with the former Cagliari coach as the team currently sit 17th in the second tier of Italian football.
They are currently in the playout positions, with a gap of five points up to Ascoli on safe ground and have asked Bisoli to help them save the club.

“US Cremonese announce that they have entrusted the technical management of the first team to Mr. Pierpaolo Bisoli,” the club wrote on their website.
The former Cagliari and Perugia player has been without a job since he left Padova in March 2019, but boasts previous experience as coach of Cagliari, Bologna and Cesena.
