The TNAS (National Arbitration Tribunal for Sport) accepted their appeal against the sanction for their involvement in the betting scandal.

The club was dragged into the summer controversy because of their former player Vincenzo Sommese.

Their six-point penalty has been halved to three, but in total Ascoli had a 10-point penalty this season, as they were also sanctioned for financial irregularities.

It means Ascoli now have 11 points in the table with a seven-point penalty.
