None of Cittadella, Frosinone, Venezia and Palermo were able to take control of their respective Serie B playoff semi-finals.

Cittadella and Frosinone was a battle of sixth versus third, but while the latter went ahead through Luca Paganini’s opener, Nicolo Brighenti scored an own goal just before half-time to leave both sides level.

The same outcome was seen between Venezia and Palermo, who surprisingly chopped top scorers Coronado and Ilija Nestorovski.
