Napoli should continue with Dries Mertens up front against Sassuolo, while Milan lean on Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Genoa.

There are four matches on Wednesday when Serie A Week 15 continues with two games at 17.30 UK and two at 19.45.

The day starts with Simone Inzaghi’s Inter at San Siro against Spezia, when Roma travel to Bologna for their 15th match in the league.

Later this evening, Milan visit Andriy Shevchenko’s Genoa and league leaders Napoli are playing at the Mapei Stadium against Sassuolo at the same time.

Probable line-ups: Inter vs. Spezia (17.30 UK time)

Inzaghi will most likely rest Nicolò Barella and Edin Dzeko against the Aquilotti, with Joaquin Correa ready to link up with Lautaro Martinez. Arturo Vidal is expected to replace Barella in the middle of the park.

Thiago Motta have Emmanuel Gyasi back in the attacking trident with M’Bala Nzola and Janis Antiste, while Bastoni returns at left-back. Daniele Verde is back in the squad and could be introduced during the game.

Jose Mourinho seems set to give Chris Smalling a place in the starting line-up, with Gianluca Mancini and Roger Ibanez. Stephan El Shaarawy is expected to start at left wing-back, with Nicolò Zaniolo and Tammy Abraham up front.

Shevchenko gives Goran Pandev the nod ahead of the big game against his former club, when the Ukrainian is expected to play a 3-5-2 formation at Marassi.

Milan have Ibrahimovic up front, while Rade Krunic and Junior Messias are expected in the attacking trident with Alexis Saelemaekers. Franck Kessie and Sandro Tonali should start in the middle, when Fikayo Tomori returns to the heart of the defence.

Alessio Dionisi is not expected to have Jeremie Boga back from the first minute, with Filip Djuricic also out. Sassuolo should start in a 4-3-3 formation against Napoli, with Domenico Berardi, Gianluca Scamacca and Giacomo Raspadori up front.

Napoli have Victor Osimhen, Zambo Anguissa and Kostas Manolas out, but Matteo Politano should be back in the squad. However, the Italian is not expected to start, with Hirving Lozano, Mertens and Lorenzo Insigne in the attacking trident.
