Serie A handed Brescia star Mario Balotelli a two-match ban and a €10,000 fine after the sending off against Cagliari, whilst eight other players are suspended.

Balotelli came lasted only seven minutes on the pitch after coming off the bench in the 74th minute, as he was first awarded a yellow card for a foul and then another for insulting the referee.

The Diciplinary Commission gave its verdict and decided that the Brescia forward will have to sit out the games against Milan and Bologna, as well as a fine for insulting the match official.

Other players who are suspended for one match are Torino duo Ola Aina and Tomas Rincon, Antonio Candreva (Inter), Francesco Cassata (Genoa), Dalbert (Fiorentina), Fabio Pisacane (Cagliari), Nicola Sansone (Bologna) and Mattia Zaccagni (Hellas Verona).

Lecce have also been fined €5,000 and Milan €4,000 after their last home games.
