Serie A transfers: Haas official, Basic and Sosa head abroad

There are still transfer deals happening for Serie A clubs, as Empoli loan Nicolas Haas to FC Luzern, Bologna send Joaquin Sosa to Dinamo Zagreb and Lazio push Toma Basic towards Turkey.

Although the summer session has closed in Italy and they can only now sign free agents, the teams are still able to loan out or sell players abroad.

Empoli announced that midfielder Haas has been loaned out to Swiss club FC Luzern until the end of the season and there is an option to make that move permanent included in the deal.

Meanwhile, Bologna defender Sosa is reported to be on the verge of a move to Dinamo Zagreb.

Lazio have unveiled their Champions League squad list and the notable absentee is midfielder Basic.

He is not part of coach Maurizio Sarriā€™s plans and the Biancocelesti hope this will push him to accept a transfer to Turkey.

According to Sportitalia, the player has so far rejected two offers from that League, but could change his mind following this snub.

Mohamed Fares is ready to extend his contract with Lazio and then go out on loan to Brescia.

The Serie B club is allowed to make signings, as their season started late with their readmittance to the division.
