The CIES Football Observatory have released their latest Serie A transfer value rankings, a list topped by Inter’s Lautaro Martinez and Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic.
The overall list sees Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham at the top with an estimated market value of around €208.2m, a little ahead of Manchester City’s Phil Foden (€200.5m) and Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe (€190.7m).
Lautaro is Serie A’s highest rated player, sitting in 29th with a market value of €87.5, sandwiched between Manchester City pair Bernardo Silva (€90.7m) and Julian Alvarez (€87.3m).
Just behind the Inter striker in the Serie A rankings is Juventus star Vlahovic (€82.4m) and the Nerazzurri’s Nicolo Barella (€80.1m). Despite all the transfer market noise, Milan talisman Rafael Leao only sits fourth in the list with an estimated value of €67.3m, far below the top three.
The highest ranked Serie A players from a club outside the historic big three are Roma’s Tammy Abraham (€51.2m) and Napoli’s Giacomo Raspadori (€50.0m).
Below are the CIES Football Observatory’s nine highest rated Serie A players:
- 1 – Lautaro Martinez – €87.5m
- 2 – Dusan Vlahovic – €82.4m
- 3 – Nicolo Barella – €80.1m
- 4 – Rafael Leao – €67.3m
- 5 – Theo Hernandez – €66.8m
- 6 – Sandro Tonali – €52m
- 7 – Tammy Abraham – €51.2m
- 8 – Giacomo Raspadori – €50m
- 9 – Alessandro Bastoni – €49.7m
Under no way on earth is Barella worth more than Leao currently…
Rob – spot on
Amortisation probably accounts for most of this so it’s more “what is their current t contract worth”
The list makes little or no sense in relation to current value.
CIES as useful as FIFA rankings apparently…
Lolz Tammy Abraham is on this list and Osimhen isn’t🤡
As a Napoli fan, there is no way that Leao isn’t number 1 on this list. There is also no way Osimhen isn’t on the list.
Osimhen?
Useless ranking.
