No Andrea Belotti in the starting line-up when Torino host Genoa in Turin on Friday night, when Davide Ballardini needs a result to ease some of the pressure in Liguria.

The match kicks off at 17.30 UK time at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino.

Ballardini is under pressure after one win from eight games in Serie A and the Grifone have only picked up three points in their last five games.

Torino bounced back from a difficult start but back-to-back defeats means the Granata sit only two points above Ballardini’s men and coach Ivan Juric has decided against rushing Belotti back in action.

The hosts are looking for their first win in a month, while the Rossoblu are searching for their first win since the third round of 2021-22.

Juric has recovered Dennis Praet, but he starts on the bench, and Ballardini has Mattia Destro up front, with Felipe Caicedo on the bench.
