Lecce were left frustrated by bad finishing and Vanja Milinkovic-Savic saves, failing to get the better of still unbeaten Torino.
The Granata were the surprise outfit of the season so far, holding Milan 2-2, then beating Atalanta and Venezia. Nikola Vlasic, Perr Schuurs and Zanos Savva were still out of action, while Lecce had Patrick Dorgu suspended, Lameck Banda, Joan Gonzalez and Mohamed Kaba injured, but gave Ante Rebic his first start.
See how it unfolded on the LIVEBLOG.
An acrobatic Samuele Ricci volley turned over from the Ivan Ilic cross, while Nikola Krstovic cut inside Adam Masina to drill just wide of the far post.
Mergim Vojvoda limped off with a muscular injury after just 20 minutes and Lecce had the better of the first half, threatening with several Krstovic attempts off target and a Tete Morente diving header just wide of the far post on Rebic’s cross.
Krstovic also had a header cleared practically off the line by Saul Coco and Che Adams went down too easily under pressure from Federico Baschirotto.
Vanja Milinkovic-Savic got down quickly to fingertip a Krstovic finish round the post after it had gone through a defender’s legs, then moments later denied the Lecce striker one-on-one.
Torino 0-0 Lecce
