Torino saw more of the ball and Lazio had the best chances, but ultimately they had to share a point apiece.

Luis Maximiano was suspended after getting sent off for handling the ball outside the area just six minutes into his Serie A debut, so Ivan Provedel took the gloves for Lazio. Pedro and Nicolò Casale were available again, but Francesco Acerbi excluded pending a transfer. Toro missed Aleksei Miranchuk and David Zima, but Sasa Lukic returned to the bench and Alessandro Buongiorno had completed his suspension.

The Milinkovic-Savic brothers, Vanja and Sergej, faced off in Serie A. Vanja got the focus first, using his legs to parry from Adam Marusic at the near post after a smart Mattia Zaccagni pass.

It was Ciro Immobile whose angled drive forced Vanja Milinkovic-Savic into a save with his legs.

Marcos Antonio made his Lazio debut off the bench and Immobile threatened again, a deflected finish whistling inches wide, with the same result for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Deep into stoppages, Vanja Milinkovic-Savic flapped at a Luis Alberto corner, as it was curling in directly from the flag.
