Came on cold for the injured Francesco Benussi, but was soon in the heat of things denying two strong efforts from Marek Hamsik and Gonzalo Higuain. Continued to block everything, he literally won the point with his contributions. Dedicated.

Davide Astori [Fiorentina]

Was the pick of the defenders winning balls, intercepting passes and setting up attacks. Worked well with teammate Gonzalo Rodriguez and between them there was no way through for Bologna. Sound.

Dario Dainelli [Chievo]

Commanded the back line with ease and his foresight allowed him an easy game. Contained the previously potentFabio Quagliarella and looked comfortable all game. Dominating.
