A goal-laden round of Serie A football gave Livio Caferoglu a selection headache when compiling Week 26's Team of the Week.

Neto [Fiorentina]

Despite the emphatic nature of Fiorentina's defeat by Lazio on Monday, the goalkeeper was a one-man army, doing everything possible to keep the scoreline down to 'only' 4-0 with a continuous supply of world-class stops. Miraculous.

Neto [Fiorentina]

Despite the emphatic nature of Fiorentina's defeat by Lazio on Monday, the goalkeeper was a one-man army, doing everything possible to keep the scoreline down to 'only' 4-0 with a continuous supply of world-class stops. Miraculous.

Giorgio Chiellini [Juventus]

Was back to his domineering best against Sassuolo, after his freak mistake at Roma a week earlier. Won all of his aerial battles with outfield opponents and refused to be infiltrated on the deck. Commanding.

Kostas Manolas [Roma]

Led the Roma defence by example against Chievo, having emerged victorious in all but one of his eight duels. Forced both Sergio Pellissier and Alberto Paloschi into submission and saw off a late Flying Donkeys storm with little trouble. Assured.

Molla Wague [Udinese]

His lanky 6'3" physique proved a thorn in either box as he quickly contained Fabio Quagliarella and Maxi Lopez with 13 defensive contributions, the joint-highest tally in the match, before heading home the clincher. Powerful.

Vasco Regini [Sampdoria]

Although not overly influential in attack, the left-back made a crucial intervention to deny Samuele Longo early doors, before asserting full control over his flank, as evidenced by both of his right-sided adversaries being substituted. Proficient.

Lucas Biglia [Lazio]

Pulled all the strings in the middle of the park as Lazio proceeded to batter Fiorentina for 90 minutes. Scored a wonderful volley and almost replicated it, while hitting 90 per cent of his 58 passes to teammates. Metronomic.

Paul Pogba [Juventus]

The difference-maker, again. With Juve in desperate need of inspiration against a stubborn Sassuolo outfit, the Frenchman took Simone Pepe's square ball and blasted a volleyed finish home for another reminder that he must be kept at all costs. Decisive.

Marek Hamsik [Napoli]

Not having his best season by any means but played a starring role against Inter, despite the Nerazzurri's eventual comeback, single-handedly scoring Napoli's opener with a header before laying off Gonzalo Higuain for the second. Visionary.

Antonio Candreva [Lazio]

His direct play was pivotal to Lazio hopes against Fiorentina, constantly catching the eye with his strong running and dangerous deliveries into the box. Capped his display off with a penalty and the rebound for Miroslav Klose's first goal. Relentless.

Antonio Di Natale [Udinese]

Ended his mini-drought in style with a confident finish from 12 yards out to restore parity between Udinese and Torino, before picking out Molla Wague for his side's all-important third goal. Classy.

Miroslav Klose [Lazio]

The performer of the weekend, his pair of finishes seeing off Fiorentina in a 16-minute, second-half spell, he bullied Fiorentina's defence all evening and was the fulcrum of Lazio's attacking play. Devastating.

Special mentions: Lorenzo De Silvestri [Sampdoria], Andrea Ranocchia [Inter], Leonardo Bonucci [Juventus], Stefan de Vrij [Lazio], Federico Barba [Empoli], Eros Pisano [Verona], Felipe Anderson [Lazio], Rodrigo Palacio [Inter], Samuel Eto'o [Sampdoria]
