With Juventus striding even further head at the top of the table after beating Napoli, Dave Taylor selects his best XI from Week 11.
Lukasz Skorupski [Empoli]
A man of the match performance from the Roma loanee, who made a handful of superb saves to deny the Giallorossi. Busy from the start, he finger-tipped an Edin Dzeko header to safety and continued to pull off some amazing stops to grab a point. Star.
Matias Silvestre [Sampdoria]

Matias Silvestre [Sampdoria]
The former Inter defender was the king of the back line and kept Mauro Icardi quiet and his aggressive tackling won the day. Hustled the Inter forwards into making mistakes with all the delicacy of someone ripping the tail feathers out of a turkey. Combative.
Leonardo Bonucci [Juventus]
Broke the deadlock following a mistake from Faouzi Ghoulam and took it in his stride to cleanly volley home the opener from 12 yards out. Continued to give his all making a couple of important interceptions. Commanding.
Giuseppe Bellusci [Empoli]
Up there with Skorupski as man of the match pulling off interceptions, clearances and blocking shots throughout the game. Always busy but always calm and played his part in Empoli keeping a clean sheet. Compelling.
Felipe Anderson [Lazio]
Had a great game and from his corner Ciro Immobile scored. Owned the right flank and caused problems down that wing every time he got the ball, standing out like a daffodil in the desert. Exceptional.
Jasmin Kurtic [Atalanta]
The 27-year-old Slovenian scored twice and made a nuisance of himself throughout. Springing the offside trap on his first, while his second saw him in space to slot the ball under Mattia Perin. Competitive.
Giacomo Bonaventura [Milan]
Seemed to be up for it from the word go and tested Albano Bizzarri on a couple of occasions before he scored the only goal of the game. Lining up a free kick on the edge of the box he screwed the ball underneath the jumping wall to baffle Bizzarri. Terrific.
Daniele Dessena [Cagliari]
Always in the centre of action and his brace inspired the hosts to the points. The captain’s first goal was a right footer after a cross from Davide Di Gennaro, while his second saw him beat the ‘keeper with another powerful right footer. Scintillating.
Jose Callejon [Napoli]
The lively make-shift central striker looked at home in his false number nine role and scored early on, only for it to be marginally ruled offside. Also tracked back and inspired Napoli to take the game to the hosts and was rewarded with the equaliser. Complete.
Gonzalo Higuain [Juventus]
The Argentinian proved he could do it on the big stage and decided the game with the winning goal. Always menacing, at one point he looked to be clear on goal but was halted by Vlad Chiriches, yet a few minutes later he struck home from 12 yards. Superb.
Marcello Trotta [Crotone]
Was a thorn in the visitors’ side, testing their goalkeeper from the off with a goal ruled offside. Not one to give up on scoring after winning an argument with Diego Falcinelli over who should take the penalty, he converted it with a powerful finish. Excellent.
Special mentions: Gianluigi Donnarumma [Milan], Nikola Kalinic [Fiorentina], Fabio Quagliarella [Sampdoria], Milan Skriniar [Sampdoria], Samir Handanovic [Inter], Adem Ljajic [Torino], Marco Benassi [Torino].
