As a rampant Fiorentina move back to share top spot with Inter, Dave Taylor selects his best XI from Week 11.

Samir Handanovic [Inter]

Won the points with several blinding saves, including efforts from Edin Dzeko and Maicon. At his very best to deny first Alessandro Florenzi then pulling off an amazing double stop on a strike and rebound from Mohamed Salah. Sensational.

Mattia De Sciglio [Milan]

As a rampant Fiorentina move back to share top spot with Inter, Dave Taylor selects his best XI from Week 11.

Samir Handanovic [Inter]

Won the points with several blinding saves, including efforts from Edin Dzeko and Maicon. At his very best to deny first Alessandro Florenzi then pulling off an amazing double stop on a strike and rebound from Mohamed Salah. Sensational.

Mattia De Sciglio [Milan]

A vigilant performance down his flank and pretty much annulled any danger coming from the Lazio midfield. Kept his discipline and never allowed himself to be pulled out of position and a thoroughly neat display. Subtle.

Jeison Murillo [Inter]

Like flying to the moon in a Fiat 500 it was impossible for Dzeko or Gervinho to put down any real traction against the Colombian. His determination and ferocity was best highlighted with a superb crucial sliding tackle on Gervinho. Commanding.

Cesare Bovo [Torino]

Made a handful of clearances and interceptions and equalised after his free kick rebounded off his own man, allowing him to scream home the follow up. Also launched a couple of menacing crosses during the match. Intimidating.

Lucas Digne [Roma]

Controlled the left flank with his dynamic runs into danger areas and displayed all his power and pace before delivering a handful of dangerous balls that left defenders as perky as rat droppings. Menacing.

Ante Rebic [Fiorentina]

The Croatian was consistently menacing down the right wing and it was from the flank that his cross somehow reached the back of the net. Not long after he struck the post but this time it bounced away to safety. Complete.

Mati Fernandez [Fiorentina]

Integral to the win with a massive hand in three of the goals as he first set up Rebic, while it was from his free kick that Gonzalo Rodriguez netted and finally winning the penalty which was converted to make it 3-0. Absolute.

Giacomo Bonaventura [Milan]

The Man of the Match, creating space and plotting moves throughout for his teammates to exploit. Always looking for the killer ball he produced two assists while also making three key passes. Supreme.

Paul Pogba [Juventus]

A commanding game and encapsulated his best performances when scoring the opener with all his pure, irresistible energy. Collecting a through ball he took a single touch before volleying the ball past the goalkeeper from 25 yards out. Tigerish.

Stevan Jovetic [Inter]

Always looking to cause problems with and without the ball and narrowly missed as one effort skinned the bar. Later after his continuous pushing he executed a neat little back heel assist for Gary Medel’s goal. Comprehensive.

Mattia Destro [Bologna]

The ex Roma striker was consistently upsetting the narrative throughout and succeeded scoring the second goal as he found space at the edge of the box before his right-footer took a deflection and ended in the back of the net. Assertive.

Special mentions: Juan Cuadrado [Juventus], Alessio Cerci [Milan], Carlos Bacca [Milan], Gary Medel [Inter], Mattia Perin [Genoa], Roberto Inglese [Chievo], Lukasz Skorupski [Empoli].
