The 31-year-old is no stranger to Serie A, having played for Palermo and made two friendly appearances for Italy, before switching his allegiance back to Argentina in 2018.

“Franco is grateful to Sevilla, so now we need to talk to them, wait and see what decisions are made,” agent Fernando Cosentino told ABC Sevilla.
“Of course there are many other clubs interested, as there was contact last summer and again in January. Vazquez is happy in Seville and we told everyone the same thing, this is not the time to talk, as that would show a lack of respect for Sevilla.”
There are also offers on the table from clubs in Argentina, but ‘Mudo’ wants to remain in Europe.
“It is an honour for us to receive a call from Boca Juniors or River Plate, but this is not the moment to go back home. He takes good care of himself, so he can continue playing at a top level for several more years.”
