Napoli are the new Serie A leaders and can boast a three-point cushion at the top of the table over Inter, while the battle for Europe is increasingly tight.

There are four rounds left to play once the Week 34 fixtures conclude, as there are another three matches to be played on Monday.

Just two weeks ago, Inter were three points clear, but there has been a massive six-point swing in the space of eight days, as the Nerazzurri lost to both Bologna and Roma by 1-0 results, while Napoli beat Monza and Torino.

It is the first time since Week 25 that Napoli have been the sole leaders of the league and inevitably they are the new Scudetto favourites.

Meanwhile, Atalanta were held by Lecce at home in a 1-1 draw, so Juventus and Roma close the gap, awaiting Bologna’s result away to Udinese on Monday.

Lazio also take on Parma, which could shake things up further in the hunt for Europe.

Fiorentina were also victorious and Milan remain in ninth place, despite their win over Venezia.

In the drop zone, Monza could be mathematically relegated next week, while Empoli and Venezia remain in the bottom three.

Lecce lost, so must wait to see what Cagliari, Parma and Verona do on Monday.

Como beat Genoa to guarantee their Serie A status for another season.
