The first match between these two sides this season ended 0-0, with neither side managing to break the deadlock in Rome.

David Ospina has been ruled out of tonight’s match due to flu-like symptoms, giving Alex Meret a chance to show off his qualities in a key game; the Italian shot stopper suffered a lumbar vertebra fracture fracture last month and only recently recovered. Giovanni Di Lorenzo is also unavailable because of a knee problem.

Anything but a win for Napoli this evening is disastrous as they cannot afford to drop any more points if they want to stay hot on the heels of Scudetto hopefuls Milan and Inter. For Roma, a win would allow them to dream about a 4th place finish, as they’d be only three points behind Juventus with five games left.

Starting line-ups in Napoli vs. Roma:

Napoli (4-3-3): Meret; Zanoli, Rrahmani, Koulibaly, Mario Rui; Anguissa, Lobotka, Fabian Ruiz; Lozano, Osimhen, Insigne.

Roma (3-4-1-2): Rui Patricio; Mancini, Smalling, Ibanez; Karsdorp, Sergio Oliveira, Cristante, Zalewski; Pellegrini; Zaniolo, Abraham
