The dates were set in this afternoon’s Lega meeting, although it needs to be ratified by the Federation.
The tournament will begin on the weekend of August 22, 2021.
There will be a Christmas break from December 23 to January 6, then resuming until the final round on May 22.
Euro 2020 is due to conclude on July 11, so this provides very little time to prepare the next campaign.
