Sassuolo youngster Luca D’Andrea starts his third Serie A game against Hellas Verona, who are desperate for the three points.

It kicks off at 19.45 UK time at the Mapei Stadium.

The Neroverdi are without the injured Domenico Berardi who, however, should not remain out of action for a long time. D’Andrea, 18, starts up front with Andrea Pinamonti and Armand Laurienté. Mert Muldur and Gregoire Defrel are also not available for Sassuolo. Gian Marco Ferrari is suspended, so Kaan Ayhan replaces him in central defence.

Hamed Traoré is available but starts on the bench. Sassuolo lost the last home game against Inter and never lost two in a row at the Mapei Stadium with Alessio Dionisi in charge.

Verona are desperate for points, having only won one game so far. New coach Salvatore Bocchetti lost his first game in charge of the team against Milan last week.

Diego Coppola, Ivan Ilic and Ajdin Hrustic are injured, but Kevin Lasagna and Pawel Dawidowicz are back.

Verona have equalled their worst-ever start in Serie A with just five points in ten games. The other time was in 2015-16 when they were eventually relegated. The Gialloblu conceded in each of the last 17 away games in Serie A.
