Sassuolo host Fiorentina in the final round of Serie A fixtures for the 2022-23 season, and, whilst the hosts are condemned to a bottom half finish, the visitors are still in contention for eighth place in the league.

Sassuolo have won just one of their previous six outings in Serie A, with their most recent victory coming in the 2-1 win over Empoli at the end of April.

Fiorentina, meanwhile, have won three in that period, picking up wins against Sampdoria, Udinese and Roma in Serie A since April 30.

The visitors will be without Kristian Thorstvedt through suspension, as well as Armand Lauriente and Agustin Alvarez, both expected to be on the sideline with injuries. Davide Frattesi is available to play, but is not expected to be fully fit enough to start against La Viola.

Vincenzo Italiano has a wider set of options available to him, with Salvatore Sirigu the only known injury heading into the final game of the season.

Kick off at the Mapei Stadium is at 19.30 GMT+1.

Sassuolo (4-3-3): Consigli; Toljan, Erlic, Ferrari, Rogerio; Harroui, Lopez, Henrique; Berardi, Pinamonti, Bajrami.

Fiorentina (4-2-3-1): Cerofolini; Venuti, Martinez Quatra, Igor, Terzic; Duncan, Castrovilli; Kouame, Barak, Sottil; Cabral.
