Daniele De Rossi will stick to a four-man defence in an away game against strugglers Salernitana, coached by another 2006 Italy World Cup winner: Filippo Inzaghi.

It kicks off at 19:45 GMT at the Stadio Arechi and is the final game of Serie A Round 22.

Salernitana sit rock bottom of the Serie A table and have only won two games from 21 this term. Boulaye Dia, Lorenzo Pirola, Lassana Coulibaly, Federico Fazio and Jovane Cabral are not available and Inzaghi is expected to confirm a four-man defence.

Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi is favourite over Loum Tchaouna in attack with Antonio Candreva and Grigoris Kastanos deployed as attacking midfielders.

Roma must cope without Chris Smalling, Evan Ndicka, Leonardo Spinazzola, Tammy Abraham, Marash Kumbulla, Renato Sanches and Sardar Azmoun. Rasmus Kristensen will be adapted as a left-back, with Gianluca Mancini and Bryan Cristante starting after serving a one-match ban in the previous round.

Paulo Dybala, Romelu Lukaku and Stephan El Shaarawy will be confirmed in the Giallorossi’s front three.

Salernitana-Roma, probable line-ups
