Andrea Belotti saw his penalty saved, but converted at the second attempt after encroachment to give Torino a precious victory away to 10-man Salernitana.

Belotti saw his effort saved by Luigi Sepe at the near post, but it had to be taken again due to encroachment from four players. At the second attempt, Belotti picked the same corner and this time Sepe went the other way.
Ivan Radovanovic’s header on a free kick was wide from six yards, while Belotti tested Sepe from close range.
Toro thought they had doubled their lead after the restart when a corner found Bremer’s free header from 12 yards and Sepe only parried it into the path of Wilfried Singo. However, it was disallowed using VAR for offside.
Etrit Berisha made a sensational one-handed save at the near post on Ederson and Fazio failed to get good contact on his header from a corner.
The conditions turned in the final stages with hail, thunder and lightning. This also didn’t help Fazio, who received a second yellow card when dragging back Belotti, which means he’ll be suspended against his old club Roma.
Belotti almost got a second in stoppages, his ferocious strike thumping the frame of the goal with a slight deflection.
Mikael nearly equalised too, his acrobatic volley from 10 yards going off target.
