Serie A | Roma vs. Verona: Probable line-ups

With Paulo Dybala injured and Lorenzo Pellegrini not fully fit, Ola Solbakken is expected to make his Roma debut as a starter against Hellas Verona.

It kicks off at 19.45 GMT.

The Giallorossi are without the injured Dybala, but how the Argentinean will be back against RB Salzburg next week in the second leg of the Europa League play-offs.

Ebrima Darboe is also on the treatment table, while Pellegrini is available but not fully fit.

Therefore, Solbakken is expected to make his Serie A debut as a starter at the Stadio Olimpico. The 24-year-old joined Roma as a free agent from Bodo/Glimt in January but has only made three Serie A appearances so far, collecting just five minutes on the pitch.

Nemanja Matic should rest with 20-year-old Edoardo Bove starting in the middle of the park. Marash Kumbulla also has a chance to start in place of Chris Smalling in central defence.

Hellas Verona are without Miguel Veloso, Thomas Henry, Ajdin Hrustic, Milan Djuric and Ibrahim Sulemana.

They are still struggling in the relegation zone but have earned 12 points in the last seven games and would sit seventh in the table if the season had started in 2023.

Verona‘s January signing Cyril Ngonge has scored two goals in his first three Serie A appearances.
