Jose Mourinho’s Roma will be hungry to leapfrog rivals Lazio in the top four spots with a win over a recovering Sassuolo.

The match between the Giallorossi and the Neroverdi kicks off at 17.00 UK time at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Roma bounced back from their tense defeat to Cremonese at the end of February with a key 1-0 win over Juventus and a 2-0 victory against Real Sociedad in the Europa League.

The team are in the thick of the race for a Champions League finish and know they cannot afford to slip up as the season starts to draw to a close.

Lorenzo Pellegrini, Andrea Belotti and Ola Solbakken are all unavailable for Roma through injuries. Bryan Cristante is absent due to a suspension, as is coach Mourinho.

Sassuolo flirted dangerously with the lower parts of the Serie A table for a while this season but have recovered and now climbed up to 13th in the table, taking off some of the pressure in the final months of the campaign.

The Neroverdi have a fully fit squad heading into the match in Rome, giving Alessio Dionisi options across the pitch.
