Salernitana registered a few COVID cases and will travel to Udine in the morning of the game which, on paper, could be their last one in Serie A this season.

Interim coach Gabriele Cioffi won his first game in charge of Udinese on Saturday against Cagliari.

Isaac Success returns after a one-match ban, while the only player unavailable is Roberto Pereyra.

Udinese have won two games from two in Serie A against Salernitana, they are unbeaten at home in the last five matches.

Salernitana’s Leonardo Capezzi and Mamadou Coulibaly are still on the treatment table. The Granata have collected four points from nine away games, the same as at home.

They have a few COVID cases in their team, so the local heath authority has prevented them from travelling to Udine on Monday. They will leave tomorrow morning at around 8 am UK time and the kick-off is scheduled for 17.30.

On Tuesday, FIGC will have a crucial meeting to decide their future in Serie A. They risk being excluded from January as Claudio Lotito hasn’t found investors willing to buy the club.

On paper, Salernitana must change ownership by the end of December to avoid exclusion from Serie A. However, according to the latest reports, the FIGC could decide to push the deadline to June and let Salernitana end the campaign.
