Torino have turned a corner under new coach Ivan Juric, but Lazio seem to be regressing as they struggle to adapt to Maurizio Sarri’s tactics.

Despite missing injured Andrea Belotti, the Granata have found their form after an unlucky opening couple of defeats to Atalanta and Fiorentina, thrashing Salernitana 4-0 and more than earning a 1-0 victory away to Sassuolo. Dennis Praet was added to the absentee list with another muscular issue, but Josip Brekalo has made an immediate impact.

Lazio had started strong with comeback wins over Empoli and Spezia, but have rather lost their way of late. The 2-0 defeat at Milan and Europa League loss with Galatasaray were followed by a tense 2-2 draw with Walter Mazzarri’s Cagliari, a late Danilo Cataldi screamer snatching a point. Mattia Zaccagni and Cataldi could allow Pedro and Lucas Leiva to rest, with Adam Marusic the favourite rather than Manuel Lazzari at right-back.

Sarri is still suspended, pending an appeal against his two-match ban, so Giovanni Martusciello is on the bench.
