Serie A Preview | Sassuolo vs. Venezia: first clash since Serie C

by | Oct 22, 2021 23:23

Sassuolo are without Jeremie Boga against Venezia, as Paolo Zanetti had some bad news ahead of the match in Reggio-Emilia on Saturday.

The Neroverdi host Venezia at the Mapei Stadium on Saturday, but Zanetti will arrive without four of his key players.

Antonio Junior Vacca, Mattia Aramu, Daan Heymans and Dennis Johnsen are absent, but Sergio Romero seems set to continue in goal against Dionisi’s men.

Sassuolo and Venezia have eight points from eight games so far and Venezia arrive from a 1-0 win against Fiorentina last time and ended a four-match winless streak.

Zanetti will hope to give Dionisi further problems in his new job, as the Neroverdi have only won once in their last seven league games.
