Serie A Preview | Sassuolo vs. Bologna: Emilia-Romagna Derby

by | Dec 20, 2021 22:41

Sassuolo are on fine form, but fumbled a 2-0 lead against Fiorentina last week, so will be fired up in this Emilia-Romagna Derby.

The Neroverdi are unbeaten in six rounds, but are certainly never low on entertainment, as they played four 2-2 draws during that period, beating Milan and Lazio. Gianluca Scamacca and Davide Frattesi gave them a 2-0 lead away to Fiorentina, only to be pegged back at 2-2.

Bologna, meanwhile, have suffered three consecutive Serie A defeats and lost Lorenzo De Silvestri to injury during the 2-0 setback against Juventus, so Riccardo Orsolini could step in.
